Reset your Password

If you forget your password, you can request to reset it. 

Steps to reset your password

1. Go to the NMap login page.
2. Click 'Forgot password?'.
3. Enter your email address and click 'Send email' to send a password reset email.
4. Check the email address connected to your account for a password reset email. 
5. From the email, click 'Reset password' and enter your new password. The new password must be 8 characters long, and have at least one number and one letter.
6. Click 'Change password'.

Tips for setting up a strong password:

• Use a unique password that is hard to guess.
• Use a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols.
• Use a password that you will be using only for your NMap account.
• Keep your password secret. We will never ask for your password by email, instant message or mobile device.
