How to Modify a Port Call in NMap™

Once a port call has been requested and accepted, you may need to make modifications. Follow these steps to update your port call:

1. Make the Necessary Changes:

• Edit the port call details as needed. 

2. Inform the Port Authority:

• Click the Update Port Call button, which replaces the previous Request button after acceptance.
• A pop-up window will appear with two modification options:
  • Header Modification: Select this option if you have made changes to the header information of the port call.
  • ETA/ETD Modification: Choose this option if your changes pertain to the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) or Estimated Time of Departure (ETD).

3. Confirm the Update:

• After selecting the appropriate modification type, confirm your action by following the prompts in the pop-up window.

4. Monitor Status:

• After submission, track the status of your port call request in the Port Call Records section. 

5. Address Any Follow-Up Actions:

• If the Port Authority provides feedback or requests additional information, follow their instructions to address any required updates or resubmissions.
