How to Edit a Table
The port call dossier in NMap™ contains several tables (e.g., crew list, ISPS, dangerous goods) where you can add or modify information. Here’s how to manage these tables:
1. Adding a New Entry
- Locate the Table: Navigate to the specific table where you want to add a new entry.
- Click the 'Add' Button: Click on the 'Add' button, typically found at the top or bottom of the table.
- Input Information: A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details for the new entry.
- Save the Entry: Once you've entered all the required information, click the 'Save' button to add the entry to the table.
2. Editing an Existing Entry
- Activate Table Editing: To modify an existing entry, click the 'Edit Table' button. This will activate the table for editing. Each entry in the table will now display two buttons: 'Edit' and 'Delete'.
- Edit an Entry:
- Click the 'Edit' button next to the entry you wish to modify. This will open the pop-up again and will allow you to update the information.
- After making your changes, click 'Save' to apply the updates.
- Delete an Entry (Optional):
- If you want to remove an entry, click the 'Delete' button next to it. Confirm the deletion when prompted to permanently remove the entry from the table.
3. Special Case: Editing the Waste Tables (Waste declaration & Waste collection sections)
- Direct Editing: In the Waste tables, the content is static. This means you cannot add new rows to the tables.
- Click 'Edit': Simply click the 'Edit' button to directly modify the content.
- Save or Discard Changes:
- After making changes, click 'Save' to update the table.
- If you decide not to keep the changes, click 'Discard Changes' to revert to the original content.
