How to Open a New Port Call in NMap™

To set up a new port call in NMap™, follow these steps:

1. Log In to NMap™:

   • Begin by logging into your NMap™ account.

2. Access the New Port Call Feature:

   • Navigate to the top menu bar and click on 'New Port Call' to start the process.

3. Search for the Vessel:

   • Enter the vessel’s name or IMO number into the search bar. The system will display a list of vessels that match your search criteria.

4. Select the Vessel:

   • From the search results, click on the correct vessel to begin customizing the port call form. If your search returns many results, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the list to navigate through the pages.

Ship not found

If your search by vessel name or IMO number does not yield any results, follow these steps:

1. Add a New Vessel:

   • An option to 'Add Ship' will appear if no matching vessels are found. Click this button to add a new vessel to the NMap™ database.

2. Fill Out Vessel Information:

   • Complete the required fields with the vessel’s details. Ensure all relevant information is entered accurately.

3. Save and Add:

   • After filling out the information, click 'Save and Add'. The new vessel will now be added to the database and appear in the search results.

4. Proceed with Customization:

   • Select the newly added vessel from the search results to continue customizing the port call form.
