In NMap™, requesting ship certificates is straightforward and integrates seamlessly into your port call management. Here’s how you can efficiently request and manage ship certificates directly through the platform:
Step-by-Step Guide to Request Ship Certificates
1. Log In to NMap™:
- Start by logging into your NMap™ account.
2. Open the Relevant Port Call:
- Navigate to the Port Calls List and select the port call for which you need to request certificates.
3. Go to the Ship Certificates Section:
- Within the selected port call dossier, locate and click on the Ship Certificates section.
4. Review Existing Certificates:
- In this section, review the list of available ship certificates. This will display the certificates already on file for the vessel. Check that they are not expired.
5. Request Additional Certificates:
- If you need to request new or additional certificates, find and click the Request Certificate button. This will open a request form.
6. Complete the Request Form:
- A pop-up will appear, allowing you to search for the required ship certificate from a dropdown menu. Select the appropriate certificate type.
7. Submit the Request:
- After filling out the form, click the Submit button. The request will be sent to the ship's Captain, who will then upload the certificate.
8. Update the Dossier:
- Once the requested certificates are received and uploaded by the Captain, they will automatically be added to the port call dossier.
