How to Edit Declarations in NMap™

Editing declaration documents in NMap™ involves updating the specific sections of the Port Call Dossier where these documents are located. Follow these steps to edit the relevant sections and update your declaration documents:

1. Open the Port Call Dossier: 

   • Inside the port call, locate the section containing the declaration you wish to edit. This could include sections like 'General Declaration', 'Dangerous Goods Manifest', or 'Crew List'.
     

   • Each section of the dossier contains specific documents and declarations. For example, 'General Declaration' or 'Crew List' will be listed under their respective sections.
     

2. Click the Edit Button:

   • Click the 'Edit data' button to enable the editing mode for the section.

3. Modify the Data Fields:

   • Make the necessary changes to the data fields within the section. Ensure all details are accurate and complete.

4. Save Your Changes:

   • After making the required modifications, click the 'Save' button to apply the changes. This ensures that your updates are stored and reflected in the section.
   • If you decide not to keep the changes, click the 'Discard changes' button. This will revert the section to its previous state before edits were made. 
      
5. Regenerate the Document:
   • If significant changes have been made, you may need to regenerate the declaration document to reflect the latest information. Click on 'Update port call' within the section to update the document.
