Understanding the status of your declarations is crucial for managing port calls effectively. In NMap™, you can track and review the status of all your declarations through the Port Call Record section. Here’s how to navigate and utilize the declaration status updates:

Accessing the Declaration Status Table

  1. Go to the Port Call Record Section within the Port Call dossier

  2. Find the Declarations Subsection  within the Port Call Record section. This area provides an overview of all the declarations associated with the port call.

Overview of the Declaration Table

In the Declarations subsection, you’ll find a table that presents the following details for each declaration:

  • Declaration type: The specific type of declaration, such as Waste Declaration or Dangerous Goods Manifest.
  • Action Name: The most recent change that affected the declaration’s current status.
  • Status: The current status of the declaration (e.g., Accepted, Rejected).
  • Submitted by: Information on who submitted the declaration.
  • Submission Time: The date and time when the declaration was sent.
  • Observations: Any feedback or comments received from the Port Authority. This section will indicate if there are issues that need to be addressed.

Viewing Declaration Details

  1. Expand Each Declaration:

    • To get more details, click on the relevant declaration to expand its view.
  2. Historic Actions:

    • Once expanded, you can view the history of actions related to that declaration. This includes all updates, status changes, and any notes from the Port Authority.

Key Actions

  • Review Status: Regularly check the status of your declarations to ensure they are processed and accepted by the Port Authority. You can also check the status from each declaration page.
  • Address Observations: If there are observations or issues noted by the Port Authority, follow up promptly to make any necessary changes or provide additional information.
