How to Request Ship Clearance in NMap™

Modified on Tue, 27 Aug, 2024 at 12:26 PM

Requesting ship clearance can only be done once the port call has officially started. Here’s how to request ship clearance:

1. Ensure Port Call Has Started:

  • Verify that the port call has begun by checking if the Actual Time of Arrival (ATA) has been entered. The clearance request option will only be available after the ATA is recorded.

2. Access the Port Call Request Section:

  • Go to the Port Call Request section within the port call dossier.

3. Check the Availability of the Request Button:

  • Look for the Ship Clearance button. This button will be enabled only if the ATA has been entered and the port call has commenced.

4. Request Ship Clearance:

  • Click on the Ship Clearance button.
  • A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm your action to send the ship clearance request to the Port Authority.

5. Confirmation:

  • After confirmation, the request will be sent, and you will receive a notification about the successful submission.
