The Masters Form can be completed in any order, but it is already designed intuitively to ensure that masters do not miss any data fields, providing complete and accurate information to the ship agent.
Follow these steps to make changes to any section of the Masters Form:
Navigate to the Section:
- Within the Masters Form, locate the specific section you want to edit.
Modify the Data Fields:
- Make the necessary changes in the data fields. Ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
Save Changes:
- After making your edits, click the 'Next' button to proceed to the next session. All filled information is automatically saved.
How to Edit a Table
The Masters Form in NMap™ contains several tables (e.g., crew list, ISPS, dangerous goods) where you can add or modify information. Here’s how to manage these tables:
1. Adding a New Entry
- Locate the Table: Navigate to the specific table where you want to add a new entry.
- Click the 'Add' Button: Click on the 'Add' button, typically found at the top or bottom of the table.
- Input Information: A pop-up window will appear where you can enter the details for the new entry.
- Save the Entry: Once you've entered all the required information, click the 'Add' button to add the entry to the table.
2. Editing an Existing Entry
- Activate Table Editing: To modify an existing entry, click the 'Edit Table' button. This will activate the table for editing. Each entry in the table will now display two buttons: 'Edit' and 'Delete'.
- Edit an Entry:
- Click the 'Edit' button next to the entry you wish to modify. This will open the pop-up again and will allow you to update the information.
- After making your changes, click 'Save' to apply the updates.
- Delete an Entry (Optional):
- If you want to remove an entry, click the 'Delete' button next to it. Confirm the deletion when prompted to permanently remove the entry from the table
