The status of a port call in NMap™ helps you track its progress from creation to closure. Below are the various status stages and what each one means:
Draft: The port call has been created but has not been submitted to the Port Authority yet.
Requested: The port call has been sent to the Port Authority. Awaiting a response.
Accepted: The basic information provided has been accepted by the Port Authority. The port call has received a unique port call number.
Rejected: The port call was not accepted. Check the observations provided by the Port Authority, make the necessary adjustments, and resubmit.
Authorized: The vessel’s entrance to the port has been granted, and the location has been confirmed by the Port Authority.
Denied: The port call was not authorized. Review the observations, correct any issues, and resubmit if needed.
Started: The Actual Time of Arrival (ATA) has been recorded. The port call is currently ongoing.
Completed: The Actual Time of Departure (ATD) has been recorded. The vessel has left the port.
Closed: The port call has been manually closed after completion. It has now moved to the completed list.
NMap™ also provides a clear overview of the port call status through dedicated tables within the port call record section.
Port Call Record Section
Within the Port Call Record section, you will find a Port Call Request sub-section. This sub-section contains two key tables:
Port Call Request Table:
- This table provides a comprehensive overview of the current status of your port call, including all the requests made.
- Each row represents a different stage or request related to the port call, allowing you to track progress and updates.
Stays Table:
- This table specifically focuses on any requests for additional stays beyond the main stay.
- It includes details about the request, status, and any feedback or actions taken by the Port Authority.
